Liam Hickey

Hi, I qualified as an Advanced Personal Trainer in 2010 and since then I have been working as a health and fitness coach. Structured physical exercise, training and healthy nutrition combined create one of the few areas in life where there is a direct correlation between the work you put in and the advances you make both physically and mentally. This achieves a greater sense of balance and overall wellbeing day to day.

As a coach I believe in correct and specific execution of technique for muscle building/muscle toning. Quite often I see a lot of effort but not a lot of effective training happening in a session and this impacts results. It is for this reason I try to educate my clients not only on what we are doing but why we are doing it. I always aim to create a sustainable programme which fits with your life, not one that your life has to fit with. This helps ensure consistency and longevity, key components to any long-term effective plan.
