With a background in gymnastics and martial arts I enjoy integrating varied practices from multiple disciplines into my training, and am always looking for new ways to move and become stronger. During the lockdowns I realised the importance of movement and training. Not only for our physical health, but mental wellbeing also. It was during this time I became particularly interested in bodyweight training, specifically the discipline known as Calisthenics.
I’m familiar with how frustrating the ‘beginner feeling’ can be, and how demotivating injuries can be. As such my training philosophy is to gradually build towards functional, skillful, and robust movement through thoughtful practice that can be adapted to any level. The product is a strong, resilient, and capable body across a variety of ranges.
