Here's our top 5 body toning workouts that combines resistance and cardio training so you're challenging your muscles and aerobic capacity at the same time.

Before you start any of these workouts, make sure to warm up properly and don't forget to cool down as well.

Workout One

Equipment needed: a pair or dumbbells, a kettlebell, a plyo box, battle ropes

Complete each of the following exercises, back to back. Rest 30 seconds. Repeat 3-5 times.

  1. 10 Dumbbell burpees
  2. 10 Dumbbell snatches
  3. 10 Kettlebell swings
  4. 10 Box overs
  5. 30 secs battle rope slams

Workout Two

Equipment needed: a weighted plate, box jump and medicine ball

Complete each of the following exercises, back to back and repeat 2-4 times for time.

  1. 12 Ground to overhead
  2. 10 Box jumps
  3. 10 sitting wall throws (each side)
  4. Kick sits

Workout Three

Equipment needed: a weighted plate, box jump and medicine ball

Complete each of the following exercises, back to back and repeat 2-4 times for time.

  1. 10 Deadlift
  2. 20 Press ups
  3. 10 Wall ball throws
  4. 10 Upright rows
  5. 10 box jump over
  6. 10 kcal air bike

Workout Four

Equipment needed: treadmill

Complete each of the following exercises, back to back and repeat 2-4 times for time.

  1. 400m sprints
  2. 20 air squats

Repeat 4 times.

Finish off with: 50 mountain climbers.

Workout Five

Equipment needed: a pair or dumbbells

Complete each of the following exercises, back to back and repeat 4 times for a total of 5 rounds for time.

  1. 10 Dumbbell push press
  2. 10 Renegade rows
  3. 10 Dumbbell front squats 
  4. 20 Alternating jumping lunges
  5. 20 Mountain climbers
