“It always seems impossible till it’s done”. How long do people keep to their New Years resolution to start using the gym? 80% give up after 1 month! I’m a very stubborn person, I don’t allow failure! (Face plant on a box jump… get up and do it again straight away!) Yes I’ve done that exact thing while teaching a class…. You are not in competition with anyone else, only with yourself.

Personal training with me is hard. You’ll want to kill me at points! You’ll probably even swear at me! But you’ll come back for more every week because I will guarantee you results. I’ll also make you laugh but best of all I will show you just how much passion I have for what I do and how much fun you can have with your workouts, which will make you work 10 times harder without realising!

I do this job because I love it. I was raised Surfing, climbing, swimming, kayaking…. The list goes on. Lifting weights and doing obstacle races are what I routinely do now day in day out. As well as what ever training I need to do for my next challenge I set myself, completing the 3 peaks in 24 hours being my last one. Having done so many different sports competitively this has given me a very good understanding of sport specific training. My interest in weight training and experience training a very wide variety of clients has given me the knowledge of how to structure a workout plan and be able to adapt your diet for you to achieve your goals whatever they may be.

 I thrive on knowledge, helping as many people as I can to the best of my ability is my aim. This is why i trained to be a sports massage therapist to help people improve recover time and circulation, reduce pain and tightness which as a result improves performance massively!
