Bartek Szaszkiewicz

Hello my name is Bartek, 

I started my fitness journey as a weak, overweight teenager with a drive to conquer my body dysmorphia, through hard work and training I dropped my weight by over 10kg through changes in my diet & activity levels. After this I went onto a 1 and half year bulk to gain muscle mass resulting in my heaviest weight of 94kg at the age of 16. My next goal was to reduce my bodyfat % and maintain the muscle mass in preparation for my first ever body building competition. After 4 months I finally felt like the superhero I set out to become allowing me to feel confident in my own body for the first time in my life. I was even interviews by Margolyes documentary on BBC2 where I spoke about body dysmorphia and how it impacted my mental health. 

My passion led me to want to help others and share this feeling of increased confidence within themselves and help those less fortunate than me. This has also encouraged me to develop my knowledge in Physiotherapy as well as becoming a Personal Trainer. This gives me a unique approach to training with a higher attention to long term goals and injury prevention for the future. 


My first goal as a Personal Trainer was to increase my parents activity levels which shows that anyone can achieve their goals with the right direction and mindset with a fun and diverse method of training. I will personalise plans to each individual and ensure your fitness goals are tailored to suit your needs.
