Andy Hopkins

Hello! My name is Andy, and my fitness journey began when I became a dad. I had never been fit and was always the kid picked last for a team at school due to my generally awful fitness level and hatred for sports. When my kids were born, I wanted to be able to play games with them and be healthier for them, and hopefully live longer...so, I started my journey into getting fit. I took up running and didn't enjoy it, so I joined a gym and loved the comradery and personal challenge of beating my unhealthy lifestyle. I LOVED the fact I completed what I was unable to do before. I grew and developed my strength, lost weight and gained body confidence - not to mention I was no longer out of breath by simple movements such as walking up and down stairs.

I even started competing in OCR runs. I took part in charity boxing matches, three peak challenges and more.

For me fitness is a way of life that ANTONE can do, with a bit of determination, a goal or two to aim for, or even just because they want to feel more confident and make friends. The gym can be daunting, but it can be a safe-space where we can make ourselves into the best version of ourselves.

As a personal trainer I make it my mission to motivate, encourage and push you to reach your goals. Fitness is for everyone, regardless of current fitness levels and personal lifestyle. Let me help you reach your goals and smash through to get to wherever you want to be. I want you to earn those aches and every drop of sweat.  Workouts are hard, but they’re always worth it!
